Umbraco outperforms some of the best known systems thanks to its 'lean' coding standards, meaning that your computer, tablet or smartphone doesn’t waste any time loading unnecessary code that is typical in wordpress themes. Less code typically means less work, and therefore a faster site performance.  Umbraco is aligned to Microsoft's .Net road map meaning it is very well supported across the world and is highly secure.  It is much more than just a 'website builder' as it enables developers to integrate with other systems and uses a suite of professional coding tools to develop apps that although may live on the web, are as professional as desktop systems.
